Biographical Info

I was born in Detroit and lived in the metro Detroit area until I was 18, when I moved to Kalamazoo for school (Western Michigan University), which is where I fell in love with the west side of the state.

My Italian heritage is connected to Abruzzo (L’Aquila) on my father’s side, where we currently have family residing. And Sicilian heritage on my mother’s side.

I currently work as a brand manager for an interior and architectural design firm in Grand Rapids, where I oversee the company’s outward-facing identity—from managing their website to photographing completed projects.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing music, practicing film photography, and continuing to research my family’s history. I’m also learning Italian, deepening my connection to my roots. Italy has been a recurring part of my life, from my first visit at 14 with my family to studying abroad in Florence. I’ve returned several times, both recreationally and with my wife on our honeymoon.
