We are excited to announce that the Italian American Club of West Michigan has partnered with Reserve Wine & Food to bring you an exclusive virtual wine tasting focusing on the Piemonte region of northwest Italy!

A tasting pack will include 3 bottles of wine, so this is a fun event to do with family or a small group from the comfort of your own home. Patrick Jobst, Advanced Sommelier at Reserve Wine & Food, will be joining us as he talks about each of the wines we will be tasting, the region where the grapes are grown, and he will be available for open discussion or questions. If you can’t make the actual tasting, no worries! Since it’s virtual, the discussion will be recorded and you can still purchase a tasting pack to do at your convenience.

The Wines:
1. Tintero Elvio Langhe Arneis (vino bianco)
2. Vietti Barbera d’Asti (vino rosso)
3. Poderi Oddero Barolo (vino rosso)

Hint: you will want to chill the Arneis for the tasting and decant the Barolo approximately 1-2 hours before the tasting starts.

When:
The actual virtual tasting will be via computer Zoom link on Saturday, June 12th at 4:00pm. A typical tasting lasts about 1 hour.

Cost:
One tasting pack (3 bottles of wine listed above) is $70.

How It Works:
If you are interested in joining, please contact Robert Budinsky with your name, home address, and preferred email address BEFORE June 5th. Payment of $70 per tasting pack can be sent to:

We will pick up all of the tasting packs by Tuesday, June 8th, and they will be delivered to your door within 1-2 days by an IACWM Trustee. No need to even leave your house! Everyone who purchases a tasting pack will be emailed a Zoom link to the virtual tasting.

On Saturday, June 12th around 4:00pm, click that Zoom link in the email and you’ll be part of the fun drinking wine with other members from the IACWM! If you want to purchase a tasting pack, but cannot make the specific virtual tasting, you will get emailed a recording of the tasting.
